Korea’s population is shrinking, and with a declining birthrate the need for foreign workers and residents is greater than ever. However, the systems in place for foreigners—whether for communication or daily life—are often complex and difficult to navigate. That’s where we come in.
With a global team of foreigners who have firsthand experience overcoming these obstacles and Koreans who are passionate about making Korea a more globalized country, we act as a bridge between the two worlds—ensuring smooth communication, cultural understanding, and practical solutions for all.
Our Story
GAT Global began with a simple question: “How can we help foreigners navigate life in Korea?” Our CEO, a Korean with a deep interest in different cultures, has always wanted to help foreigners feel more at home in Korea. Having worked in the telecommunications industry for many years, he decided to make a difference through the telecom field, the industry he knew best.
The journey began in 2015 as a telecommunications startup. Starting small—just five people in Goyang, helping migrant workers get SIM cards in a country where telecom is deeply integrated into daily life yet notoriously difficult for foreigners to navigate.

Today, GAT Global has grown into a company with:

teams supporting various aspects of our business
Over the past 10 years, we’ve built a trusted community of 400,000+ followers.
